What was your favorite class in college and why?
"Gender and Sexuality in Latin American societies. Why: Learning gender is a social construct" - Tom G., Poet
"American History from 1870 to 1960. The professor gave really excellent lectures; every lecture was basically a theatrical monologue, complete with an introduction, anecdotes, extremely well-executed jokes, dramatic emphasis, and an ending that provided closure. Professor Cook didn't read off of notecards, or use Power Point, or read out of the textbook; he knew his stuff backwards and forwards. His presentation of history was basically a series of very interesting stories that led into one another, and naturally developed into present-day times. He poked fun at academia a lot, even though he was obviously an academic himself; he was a really neat guy, and all of his students love him. My favorite professor and my favorite class, by far. Totally brilliant guy." - Corey W., Sociology Student
